Ceramic pot filter

WHY A CPF WORKHOP?
The ceramic pot filter is manufactured and sold in an increasing number of countries worldwide. Surveys in the field have shown a significant reduction in diarrhea cases, but have also shown the need for improvement of the filter efficiency, quality control and assurance in the manufacturing process, and social marketing. Many (research) institutions are already working on a wide range of topics; however, communication between these institutions is limited. This workshop is initiated to start an International Ceramic Pot Filter Community, which will be supported by the launch of an interactive website and digital newsletters.

GOAL OF THE WORKSHOP:
To make an inventory of ongoing worldwide CPF research and formulating recommendations for future research projects.

TARGET GROUP:
Researchers involved in ceramic pot filter research, but also interested NGOs and manufacturers.
